Tires and fork seals are new, a valve and carb service and synch were performed less than 300 miles ago. There are no leaks, or any problems of any type with any system on the bike--it literally runs, drives, shifts, stops and turns like new. Cosmetics: this bike is not perfect in every way--but it is perfect in almost every way. The only items that would keep this bike from scoring a perfect "100" are as follows: 1) the right exhaust canister has a rust ring. Options are a replacement, run it as is until there is an exhaust leak (there isn't one now) or use the supertrapps. 2) the tank has some flaws--a few small knicks and a couple dents. One dent is easy to see in one of the pics, the other isn't--one is towards the back of the tank on the right top edge. (easy to see) the other one is on the top of the tank--the owner said something fell on the top in his garage while it was under cover. The paint is not affected, but there is a bit of a warp or bend. It is not huge, and many people don't see it--but it is there. But the black paint is still great. Other than that--the bike looks like new everywhere. Other than the flaws listed above, it is mint, showroom, like new. Be/on9qosvp8-eabout me: i 48 years old and have been in love with motorcycles since i was a tiny boy. I own (among others things) a nicely modded zx-14, and have ridden all over the usa and much of western canada. I have exported over a hundred used bikes to europe, and i paid my way through college running one of the largest used bike shops in the country. Whenever we travel, i enjoy bike shows, museums and exhibits wherever i can find them. And this bike is really, really exceptional. Some business items: i have a start price at $4,450. I will not take paypal, or conduct business via text or email with someone looking to send me a wire and pick the bike up for their brother in law in jibeketstan. I have been a dealer for years and have seen just about every scam in the book, please don't waste my time. 1) i had a question on the cam recall--the replacements were done, but the originals were perfect with no damage and looked new when they came out of the bike.
